This sophisticated hat is hand-made from green and gold streaked sinamay which was hand-blocked on to a vintage hat block. The sinamay has an open weave that gives it texture and a slightly 'rustic' look, making it unusual and semi-transparent. It is a small tilt-hat and is wired to maintain its shape, with a black elastic to hold it on the head. There is a leaf of sinamay going from the front with a large yellow silk and sewn wool-like yarn bow. The inside of the hat is edged with green tape.
